Gabriel Parrish '26 Recruiting Profile

I want to pursue a college degree that uses my leadership and interpersonal skills. While I am still learning exactly what I want to pursue in college, I know that I enjoy working with people and am confident will make a difference in whatever team I'm a part of. I'm a problem "solver" and I'm sure that will be a valuable part of any career I choose. 

I'll be a good candidate for any team because I have been gifted with the same  high level of athletic ability that runs in my blood. My aunt, uncle, and dad all broke historical school records for their respective sports in large high schools in North Dakota. The strong support from my parents have helped me to understand that a gifted, teachable player with a humble heart and a strong work ethic will accel both on an off the court. 

What makes me different than other solid athlete candidates is that I am an "encourager" who understands that there is more to a successful team than just  the skill of the athletes. Skill will come and go, but kids who can perform and shine like a light both on and off the court or field can make a difference that lasts beyond the sport - for both my teammates, my school, as well as myself.
