I believe that my experiences with leadership roles and teamwork have helped to teach me times I need to lead and times I need to be a supporting teammate. They have taught me valuable lessons in the importance of communication with those around me and working towards a goal. People say that my compassion, friendliness, and love of serving others are my greatest strengths. I participate in various charity works including Rare Breed, St.Judes, Children's Miracle Network, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Shoebox for Soldiers, and Wreaths for Veterans. These events have required dedication, determination, goal setting, passion, attention to detail, and planning. Lastly I believe my reliability, honesty, and dedication speak to my character. My AAU coaches often tell me that I respond well to direction and display and unmatched work ethic. I always try to be a good teammate, partner in any working relationship I have. I believe my reputation within my school with teachers and classmates supports this. Classmates often look to me for advice and guidance. Teachers often ask me to assist students in need with various situations. I complete tasks assigned, I honor my word, and will stand up for what is right. I would love an opportunity to continue my athletic passion in college, as I consider that to be an ultimate blessing.
