As an athlete, my goals and dreams have always been quite obvious to me. I have always wanted to play basketball or baseball at the college level.
As a Freshman on the Varsity Basketball Team, I was a starting shooting guard. My goals are to continue to improve on my game throughout my high school years. I was selected to the 2nd team All-Conference in Basketball and named Player of the Year my Freshman year. As a team player, a short-term goal of mine was for our team to win districts during our 2013-14 season. As a Sophomore, by continually improving on my overall athletic ability, I was named Player of the Year & Offensive Player of the Year. I also made 2nd Team All Conf., & 1st Team All District. As a Junior in high school, I continue to push myself on every level of the game to reach my goal to play at the college level. My passion and love for the game continue to be the most important part of my life.
Along with my love for basketball, I also strive for excellence on the baseball field. I was a starting Freshman in the shortstop position, and as a Sophomore, I was the starting pitcher and was selected All-Conference 1st Team, named Player of the Year, and Offensive Player of the Year. As a Junior, my pitching skills continue to improve. My future goals are to enter college and play basketball or baseball, and I feel I will be an asset to any team I am fortunate enough to be placed on. My drive and determination are my greatest assets and I always give more than 100% of myself.
I also believe academics play a key role in my future. I strive for academic excellence as well as athletic excellence. I have always pushed myself in academics because I know the importance of keeping my grades up. I was chosen as co-captain of the baseball team and basketball team based on my character and leadership. I always believe in being a role model to my fellow athletes and helping them to bring out the best in themselves along with being a positive role model to the younger crowd in my school.
