Kyle Ventola '20 Recruiting Profile

Dear Men’s Basketball Coaching Staff,

My name is Kyle Ventola from the small town of Danville, NH.

I'm a Senior at Timberlane Regional High School and Varsity Basketball starter for the Owls. I had an incredible summer averaging 22 points and 11 rebounds per game during a 23 game schedule.

I have big dreams and high expectations for my future athletically and academically.  I'm not sure yet how, but I will help change the world. Even if it's in the smallest way, I plan on helping people and leaving an impact regardless of what my future holds. I am an honors with distinction student at Timberlane and hope to graduate with high honors. One of my many goals is to play college basketball!

I am currently a five-position starter for the Merrimack Valley Eagles, an AAU team based out of Haverhill, MA coached by Joe Tardiff and Darren Stratten. I average approximately 20 points and 10 rebounds.

What sets me apart from other individuals not only is my skill and ability on the court but my hard work, dedication and leadership not just in basketball, but life itself. I love to keep busy and carry quite a work load! Again, I am an honors with distinction student at Timberlane, currently taking drivers education while studying for finals, I love to converse face to face with people in today's crazy world of social media and try to tackle life as hard and with as much passion as I do basketball.

But back to basketball...

My game is very fundamentally solid. I am a 6'1” 5 position player, who can attack from both sides of the floor and get to the free throw line. I can find the open man when running the point and knock down jumpers from anywhere on the floor. My defense and vocal leadership are unparalleled to none. I can guard a 6'5” center or a 5'8” PG. I can leap through the roof and I even run the 40 in under 4.7 seconds!

My hard work and dedication doesn't stop there. I'm the first one to the court and last to leave! I treat practice just like a game and for 5-6 days a week work on all facets of my game. I regularly incorporate fitness, plyometrics, weights and a healthy diet into my weekly routine as well. I run a mile a day with a weight vest, do not eat red meat or intake sugar. My diet consists of kale, fruits and chicken and ok, sometimes pizza and cheddar cheese goldfish!
