Tell coaches about your collegiate goals and aspirations:
I envision my college years to be a personal growth period. My goal is to explore a business major that will position me well for Entrepreneurship. I will make meaningful connections by way of mentorship of Professionals who are CEO’s or have their own businesses. On the basketball court, I plan to be a dynamic player and positive influence on the team. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college basketball career, I will strive to be an asset to the team. Understanding mentorship, and building relationships will help to keep me focus. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the court, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the college I attend.
What makes you a good candidate for your team?
I am a leader amongst my peers; I am dynamic and versatile, able to play multiple positions well. I’m a team player and a quick learner.
What makes you different from other recruits in character, athletics and academics?
I bring to the world unique talents, gifts, and abilities, and some of mine include my strong will and my determination to be selfless and put my team before myself so that my team as a whole is successful. I have been on the A/B honor roll continuously, and I work very hard to ensure my grades are no lower than a B. I take pride in knowing my parents contributed to my character, in which not only am I a hard worker, but I’m honest, dependable, and a natural born leader.
