Jaykob Ott '23 Recruiting Profile

I always want to make an impact on and off the court by giving my teammates energy and also motivating them in a positive way. I always try to improve on my game everyday by pushing myself to put in the work. I am very hard working, physically and mentally fit when it comes to playing basketball. I play basketball In the winter for my high school team, and when i'm not in season i'm constantly working on improving my weaknesses and try to make myself a better basketball player. In my free time i'm in the gym working out to stay in shape, or focusing on school work to succeed in my classes. During the off season, I play varsity Football at the position corner and slot. Also I do Spring Track for varsity, I compete in the 800, long jump, and triple jump. I have a strong commitment for the game of basketball and would like to play in the college level. I am also a member of the German National Honor Society. After graduation I plan on majoring in Athletic Training/Exercise Physiology.
