Hayden Bruhn '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Hayden Bruhn; I am a sophomore, and I attend Logan High School. I currently have a 4.0 GPA and I am the top of my class. It has always been my dream to play college basketball. It takes many sacrifices, and a lot of determination to play at the next level. I am willing to do whatever it takes to achieve my goal. My determination and grit that I have developed over the years of playing has helped me succeed in school and on the court. I think this will carry over to the next level and be very beneficial to my game on the court and my work in the classroom. Playing varsity, the past two years has allowed me to learn communication and teamwork amongst my teammates and coaches. I feel that teamwork and getting everyone involved whilst still winning is very important. Over these past two years I have led rebounds for my team. This year I am number one in the State of New Mexico in double doubles. I feel like there is so much more to the game then just scoring. Rebounds and Defense are much more important if you want to win. the thing is you have to want to do these things, and I believe I have showed I can do this on the court.

I think my work in the classroom has also benefited me a lot. I have always been the top of my class or close to it since I could remember. I feel like classwork and grades comes first over everything. I think many people go to college for sports and that's all they focus on, they let their grades drop and that effects everything. School comes first no matter what, if you have bad grades, you won't even be able to step on the court, and I believe I have showed that throughout high school. I am very excited for the things to come, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to play at the next level, and I am also very open to where I play and at what level it is I play.
