Pep Viveros '21 Recruiting Profile

I'm a shifty, heads up guard who enjoys making plays for others, and can create for myself when needed. I can shoot a spot up 3 as well as shoot off the dribble. I can get into a lane and create for bigs easily, or shoot a setback or floater. I play well off the pick-and-roll and can run plays for a team. I hope to become a key player and leader on any team I play on. I believe my communication skills and leadership skills allow me to be that leader. I believe my hard work and competitive attitude will allow me to turn into the player I want to be wherever I go, no matter the level.

I would like to major in psychology. After college, I would like to become a psychologist for sports teams in major leagues such as the NBA, NFL and MLB. Obviously, I understand how difficult this is, but this dream  would help bring two of my favorite things together, which are sports and helping people with their personal problems. Over the years I've realized psychology and sports go hand in hand. Mental toughness and confidence are two determining factors in any sport; without them, no matter the skill level, one will play below his or her potential.
