I have been playing basketball since I was 3 years old. And since I first stepped on the court I have aspired to play college basketball. And I know that playing college basketball is a lifetime opportunity that could change my life.
I have good ball-handling skills, great physical defense, and a high basketball IQ. I am a team player and I also try to lead by example while encouraging my teammates. I strive to be one of the hardest-working players on the court.
I work year-round on my basketball skills. I have played for AAU teams in the past, Also I play Football, track, and go to the weight room which all contribute to my athleticism. When I am not doing any of that I am studying for tests or doing homework. I currently have over 90 hours of community service completed and i'm only in my sophomore year of high school. I enjoy helping people and being apart of my community.
In the classroom, I study hard and try to maintain a good GPA. I also pay good attention to what the teacher is teaching me. Also I participate in band where I play the saxophone. Our band marches in the New York City St. Patrick Day Parade each year. After I graduate I want to go to a good college for basketball.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself not only in basketball but in the classroom as well. I am open to options and I want to ultimately find the right college that matches the highest competition possible. I hope I can become a great role model to all my peers, in my community and make my family proud.
