My whole life I've been told I could play basketball for a living. I showed them how much I love playing the sport and why I want to play at the highest level possible and I still have been rejected by many people in my life, including some family member. The doubts I receive in my life pushes me to do more and become greater. I became interested in basketball at the age of 4 but I didn't take it seriously till I was 10. Throughout playing this sport, I've learned that I'm a passionate and hardworking athlete who won't take any smack from nobody.
My academic goals for high school is to graduate with a 3.5 gpa or higher. And my academics goals for college is to maintain a 3.0 gpa or higher and graduate with my bachelors degree. Throughout my life, when I was sad or upset I would shutdown and not do anything. As I grew up I knew that this only hurts me. I used basketball to help express my feelings and also learned to not take anything to heart. Basketball has taught me that as well. My unique skills is my hustle, my speed, my mindset on the court, my passing ability, my rebounding and my words. My words helps motivate my teammates to push themselves and do better and grow as a team.
