Jai Austin '21 Recruiting Profile

I started playing basketball at the age of 3. Ever since then I have never stopped playing the game. I first started playing  with Youngsville Parks and Recreation. Once I started playing there I started to love the game more and more. From there I gradually expanded to AAU basketball, then in middle school, I received the Athlete Of The Year Award in the Eighth grade. Now I'm  on the Varsity team at Bunn High School in the  starting lineup as a sophomore. I have strong dribbling skills, and I work on my shot every day. I tend to look for the best shot on the court before I look for a self-opportunity, this can show that I can work with others around me on the court. I am very coachable, because I tend to take information in any way I can get it. Off the court I’m home studying trying to get my Grades/GPA higher. I started working part time in the Summer of 2019 so that I could begin to attend some Basketball camps.
