Garrison Budd '21 Recruiting Profile

 I am a grounded person raised in a strong catholic family.  My mother has been involved in education, and my father has coached for as long as I can remember.  Competing in sports has always been a part of my life as I am the youngest of three brothers who all played sports. Through sports, I have learned that anything is possible with dedication and belief.  I understand that academics are a very important part in my life.  My academic goals for the remainder of high school are to be "first honors" (>3.5 GPA) every grading period. For college, my goal is to maintain a strong enough GPA to gain acceptance into a nursing program.  One obstacle that I had to overcome several years ago was changing middle schools.  This forced me to get out of my comfort zone, build new relationships with new teachers, classmates, and teammates.  My relationship-building skills, along with being a coachable player and having a high sports IQ are three unique characteristics that coaches say that I possess.
