My basketball career has came with alot of ups and downs. One of those downs being, put on JV for the start of the season my junior year. At first I was upset but I came to realize that it was in my best interest, and helped me to become an overall student-athlete. Being put in the postion to lead a team and be "the guy" helped me to grow overall. I was moved up to Varsity about 6 games into the season and I seen an immediate change with my level of play. I fit well into the program and I was eventually named Most Improved Player. That experience has helped me to keep my focus on improving and being a solid guard capable of playing at the college level.
I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I currently posses a 3.9 GPA and would love to major in Exercise Science. I believe that I have the skill, leadership qualites, and work-ethic to make an immediate impact on your program. Since I've been playing basketball I have learned the value of teamwork, sacrifice, commitment, work-ethic, and leadership.
