Personal Statement
I have great relationships with my family and friends. My father has had the greatest impact on the person and athlete I am today; teaching me things about life, work ethic, humility and acknowledging God through it all. I am a great teammate and guys love playing with me because I share the ball and I am genuinely excited and happy when other players shine. As a PG, I make other players better and though I have been on teams where I led the team in scoring, I would rather win as a team than pursue personal glory. This is how I led our high school to win its first ever District title in 2019-2020 and could have advanced if not for Covid-19. I led the team in Assists, Steals and minutes played (2nd in scoring). I averaged 12 Points, 4 Rebounds, 7 Assists and 3 steals. Senior year, I led my team to the State Final game losing by 1 point.
All who have coached me would say that I am coach-able, respectful and have a higher basketball I.Q. than most point guards in the class.
My goal is to play college basketball and study Business.
