Personal Statement
Playing college basketball has been my dream since I was in sixth grade and I have been steadily working towards that goal ever since. I have a strong belief in myself and I know if I work hard, I will accomplish my goals.
I am not a selfish player and love to help my teammates score and be successful. I expect to win and have a positive mental attitude. I have been on many different teams since sixth grade, playing both club and on my school teams, and I have learned that skills can always be developed and learned, but a winning attitude and love for the game isn’t something everyone has. I truly love the game of basketball.
I am a good listener and enjoy working hard to learn new skills and to develop my current talents. I am excited to commit to a coach who instills confidence and believes in his team. Basketball has taught me a lot about life, and I can’t wait to share my love for the game with others once I am done with college.
