Jaedon Mast '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, 

My name is Jaedon Mast, I'm an extremely athletic point guard from Brooklyn, NY. I am currently attending Lancaster Mennonite Highschool in order to try and make the most of my senior season seeing as with Covid-19 sports are uncertain in NYC. The reason I believe I would bring value to your team is twofold. For one I'm convinced you will be hard pressed to find anyone who can could outwork me. In two years I've went from a player who just played basketball for fun to someone who I believe is qualified to play basketball at a higher level. Reason number two is I consider myself a leader on and off the court. Throughout my last 3 years of school which were a mix of in person and online I've maintained a 3.9 GPA whilst playing two sports and working a job. I'm also very level headed, I never find myself getting into any problems with players or coaching staff. 

My parents have been a big impact in my life so I attribute much of success to them and God. I've been blessed with many opportunities I will forever be grateful for. I know that some coaches will glance over my profile and not think twice but the work that I have put in and will continue to put in is second to none. Skill and role playing can be taught but hard work and common sense cannot. I am committed to bringing the best version on myself to your team, to fill in whatever role is given to me. I am well aware that I have a lot to learn but I am not afraid to put myself out there. 

 Just a side note, the stats listed are from AAU season because I haven't played a full season since freshman year...
