David Craig '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is David Craig, I am a 6'6, 210 lb. senior at Cumberland Valley High School, Pennsylvania. I have recently moved back to the USA after living for 5 years in Beijing, China, and attending the International School of Beijing (ISB). My experiences with living overseas have matured me as a person and exposed me to many different styles and forms of basketball around the world. Unfortunately it has limited my exposure within the USA and prevented me from attending camps and invitationals. With that being said, living in Beijing opened other doors for me from a basketball perspective because I have been privileged to play the likes of teams from India, South Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, and top ranked high schools within the Beijing area. I have also been blessed with positive influences around me who have guided me in the right direction such as my Father, Mother, and ISB varsity basketball coach, Tim Callahan. I am very passionate about the game and have always aspired to go on and play at the collegiate level. Academically, I have the same mindset; to always try my hardest and improve everyday.

Currently I am working towards being a stand out in my conference and leading my team towards a winning record this season, and hopefully playoffs. I was unable to showcase my abilities to the fullest during the AAU season because of a shoulder dislocation but I am now close to being fully healthy, and ready to compete for my senior year.
