Connor Simms '25 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to be as involved in sports as possible throughout my life.   I am searching for a quality analytics/statistics program to pursue my passion of manipulating data to understand, break down, and improve sports performance.  I have played basketball for the past 10 years and would love the opportunity to contribute to a men's basketball team while pursing my personal goals.

On and off the court, I am a leader.  I served as our varsity basketball team co-captain as a sophomore.  I earned All-Tournament honors at both of our annual tournaments, scored a career-high 22 points, was recognized as one of the top 3-point scorers in the Lehigh Valley (PA), and Team MVP.

Additionally, I have been a 2-year starter on the Varsity baseball team and compete individually in golf. Although our school does not have a golf team, I have trained and practiced with our rival school (Palmerton) and competed individually to earn the honor of representing our school in Golf.  I qualified for the Colonial League Golf Championship Tournament and District XI Qualifying Golf Tournament as a Sophomore and Junior.  

In the classroom, I work hard and have the highest expectations of myself.  I take almost all honors courses, am 7th in my class, and have a 4.5 GPA.  I have always been most interested and comfortable in math-related environments, and plan to combine that with my love of sports for my career.

For the past 2 years, I have been playing AAU basketball with the Lehigh Valley Force with the intention of playing college basketball.  Although I still enjoy baseball and golf, it is basketball that I love the most.  I believe my leadership, team-first mentality, and diverse set of skills and basketball IQ will allow me to be a great addition to any team!
