Personal Statement
I am La'Sauhn McFadden. Through playing Basketball, I have learned the importance of being a leader. I know that my teammates need to be able to rely upon me to make the right call and guide them on and off the court. I always wanted to be a team captain, but I always assumed it went to the best player on the team. However, once I became captain, I finally understood the responsibility that came along with that title.Basketball is often referred to as a game by the general population, but to me, it is something much deeper. My biggest goal in highschool was to get the chance to play college basketball.
