I identify myself as a student athlete. It all started in seventh grade at the age of 12 having deep devotion toward a competitive sport called basketball. Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) was exhilarating! Playing and competing against teams made me become the athlete I am today. Rebounding, hustling and shooting the basketball are my strengths. In addition to my characteristics, I'm artistic, humble, and determine. I persevere through any difficulties and avoid any altercations when it comes to teamwork. Due to my collegiate goals Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) has influenced me to become more studious, however AVID is "designed to help student develop the skills they need to be successful in college, the program places special emphasis on growing writing, critical thinking, teamwork, organization and reading skills."
My most challenging obstacle was transferring in the middle of my Junior year to Cordova High School; in the past I had great affiliations in Lewisville High School. Once I transferred I began to feel solitude, but I've matured and my attitude is optimistic. Over time, playing basketball made me learn about integrity and become a better role model. In Lewisville High School my teammates and I volunteered, freshmen and sophomore year, for the special Olympic organization so children and adults with disabilities could play organized basketball. I want to become an architectural designer with a master's degree hoping to reconstruct and design the world. My goals are colossal. Some people might think of me as being delusional even though I consider myself as ambitious.
