My name is Brandon Payne, class of 2024, and I play the point guard position for Millington Central High School in Millington, Tennessee. As a student-athlete, competing means I have to be better than the person ahead of me. This means being on top of my game in the classroom and on the court. For me, competing means doing whatever is necessary to win; however, I understand that I might win some and lose some. The important lesson is to learn from my mistakes and become better.
Upon entering college, my academic interests is to major in sports medicine to become an athletic trainer. After graduation, I would like the opportunity to play professionally to have that great experience. Once my playing career has ended, I would like to work with high school and collegiate athletes to help them keep their bodies and minds in shape and focused.
