My name is Devonta Johnson class of 2027. I’m a 5’11” PG from Coolidge, TX. I‘m currently a Freshman starting on varsity. My team is currently ranked in the top 25 of state rankings, coming in at #23. Currently I’m averaging 22.1ppg 8.7apg 4.9rpg. I’m very fast with and without the ball, great court vision and passing to go along with it, very unselfish but can go get a bucket and also an excellent defender. Team success is very important to me. I work very hard at my craft, I’ve known this is was what I wanted to do since I was about 5 or 6. I’ve been playing in aau events and camps across the country, like the cp3nmsc, Pangos, GASO, Madehoops & mshtv. I was named top 20 in the class of 2027 at the MadeHoops South Academy at Drive Nation in Dallas, TX. I am an A student, grades are very important to me, getting a degree is important to me. I also play football and received all region recognition, as well as run track where I will be competing in the UIL State meet on May 4th in Triple Jump. I ran Cross Country this year and was a regional Qualifier. If you choose to give me a shot, you will get a hard worker committed to the process of learning and getting better.
