I first started playing basketball at five years old. Even then, I knew I wanted to continue to play basketball. In middle school, I realized I wanted to play college basketball as I got more interested in the game. I've been working and training to make it to that level.
I am very versatile on the court. Scoring down low, midrange, or even scoring from beyond the arc is not a challenge for me. My basketball IQ is high on both ends. On the defensive end, I'm good at playing help side and facing up. I've always been a team leader encouraging others to work their hardest. Hard work and playing together are two of the most important things I've emphasized in my game.
I'm currently playing AAU for a team in the Dalls-Fort Worth area. I've been playing AAU for eight years. I've traveled all across the U.S. for AAU. Growing up I also played baseball for five years and competitive club soccer for seven years.
My work ethic in the classroom is simple; I go to class to get the best grades possible. I go the extra mile to make sure I get good grades because going to college is important to me. I want to major in agriculture, preferably poultry science.
In my free time, I enjoy helping younger kids. I have refereed youth games, helped at my school basketball camps, and volunteered at Thanksgiving and Christmas food and toy drives with my school. I have three brothers and sisters who are eleven years or more younger than me. So, spending time helping kids is something that comes naturally to me.
