Jeremiah Smith '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jeremiah Smith and I am a Senior at Chaparral High School in Killeen Texas. Basketball is my life. My dream is to play professional basketball, right now I don’t have a plan B because if I start focusing on my plan B I think it will take away from my plan A. This is my four year being "A" Honor roll student. I am willing to work my way up from a DIII, DII, or JUCO college to get to a D1 basketball program. I am a smart, respectable, Christian kid who will work hard at any opportunity given. This past high school season, I was selected to 5A All District and Academics team. Past accomoplishments, TCAF All State (Second Team) and All-District First Team, we also won back to back TCAF State Championship.

I think that I learn plays quickly, I know where everyone else is supposed to be on the court. My strengths is getting to the basket, mid-range jump shot, three point shooter, and shooting a high percentage at the free throw line. I would say my weakness is not being vocal, and turnovers, which I am working on daily. Lastly, I am a military kid my dad has served over 20 years, I think that I am discipline and have no issues adapting to any situation.
