Personal Statement

Hello, I am Mikayla Gray, I have played volleyball since I was 8 years old and club for the past four seasons. Coaches have always described me as a very coachable athlete that is always willing to learn, and whom my fellow teammates can depend on and emulate. On the court, I remain calm even in intense game situations and strive to make the best decisions that will benefit my team. I have always been an all-A student and take my academics seriously while being in advanced classes (AP, honors). My goals include playing volleyball at a high collegiate level while earning a master's degree in Computer Science. I hope to find a school that fits my core values and pushes me to be a better student-athlete.
