Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Colbie Holiman. I am a 17 year old junior class of 2020 attending high school at Red Oak High School with a 3.5/4 GPA. I am a 6’9” 240 lb center and power forward. I currently play AAU basketball for Texas Impact 4:13 on the Recruit Look Circuit.
I have many goals and aspirations for collegiate basketball. I'm looking to find the best fit for not only my family and I, but also to find the best fit for where the specific college/ team needs me. I love to make everyone around me better, and I am a very vocal leader on and off the court. I love to take on tasks in the classroom and on the court which makes me very coachable. I am in the gym working out every day to get better because I'm confident in my game, but I am a strong believer you can always improve and to be a student of the game. I also realize that to play collegiate basketball you not only have to be well-rounded on the court but off of it as well in the classroom. I take much pride in making sure I'm on top pf my school work/grades. I currently hold a 3.5 GPA and look to improve it even more.
