I have learned many life lesson since I was ten years old. I have learned how to set goals for myself, learned how my actions impact others, and have learned to have fun. Over the years, I have set goals for my self on the court. Whether I wanted to increase my vertical or dog serves like our libero, I had to create a plan and put in the hard work. These practices carried over into my academic career. I applied this work ethic to help become a member of the national honor society and help improve my gpa. Volleyball has also showed me how my actions on and off the court impact others around me. We are a team, and what one person does, reflects on the entire team. I have also learned to have fun and not to sweat the small stuff. I still love walking onto the court every time. However, I am going to make mistakes on the court, but I have learned what matters is what I do next.
