My collegiate goals are to develop a family with my fellow teammates and go to war with them. And in that war, accomplish a championship. While accomplishing that goal, becoming the best player I can be.
What makes me a good candidate for college teams would be my grit, competitiveness, unselfishness, and passion. I do whatever it takes to win, no matter the role and no matter the difficulty. I take someone beating me in anything, no matter what it is, personally. I also have the motivation of constantly wanting to get better. I see a move I want to do it, I see a technique I want to learn it, I see a shot I want to shoot it.
What makes me different than other recruits in character, athletics and academics is my story. My story has been extremely hard and has given me many thoughts of a hopeless outcome, but the one thing I have but a lot of recruits do not have is perseverance. My story has forced me to persevere through obstacles throughout my life. In Athletics, many recruits are blessed with height, athletism, and have been given everything, I have not. I earned everything I have and persevered through my short height and persevered through my small school and became gritty and competitive. In academics, I knew that enable for me to go to the next level, I needed to put student before the athlete. I never was one that was very confident about my grades until my Junior Year. I became competitive against my friends because they would brag about better grades towards me, I used that as fuel and began focusing heavily on academics and sports and put everything else aside. My grades began to excel. I even got the highest score on my Practice SAT. Though unfortunately, due to Covid-19, I was not able to take my SATs or the ACTs.
