Personal Statement
Money has been tight in my house for as long as I can remember. I've always known my parents couldn't afford Student Loans, and I thank God everyday that I am blessed to play this game I won't ever stop enjoying. I'm so passionate about this game because it's all I really have. I'm notoriously known for bringing the energy. All of my teammates feed off of my energy and intensity, making them play as hard as me also. I'm that crazy guy on the court who's screaming after he blocks a shot, smacking the floor on defense, getting everybody pumped up, and leading my brothers into war every night. If we're getting beaten by 59 in the fourth quarter, I'm playing like it's a tie game. Quitting isn't in my blood. I've been through so much adversity and sacrificed everything to get to where I am and I will never take that for granted. In academics I learn differently. Maybe I'm not as quick as others but once I understand what's being taught, I master it and it becomes simple. I'm good for your team because you can rest assured that I'm going to go to battle and do whatever you need me to do for the team.
