Personal Statement
My goals for when I attend college are to graduate with a Bachelors degree and eventually attain a Masters. I believe that I would be a great contributor to a college basketball team because I'm a hardworking student and basketball player. I often spend long hours studying and completing homework assignments while also working out at least four to fives times a week on basketball skills and shooting, weight training, and increasing my speed. I have been able to maintain an overall "A" average through middle school as well as my first year of high school and I have received academic and citizenship awards. I am also different from many other recruits because I listen to my coaches and eagerly want to receive their feedback and their recommendations for improvement. I am dedicated to working very hard on my game and I always try to give 110% to be the best at player on the court. I also try to step up and encourage my teammates as a leader on the court and I have served as a co-captain for my teams. I will be different from the other recruits because I will take my academics very seriously as attaining a college degree is a primary goal while hopefully having the opportunity to play the sport of basketball which I truly love.
