Hayden Branson '22 Recruiting Profile

    Hello,  my name is Hayden Branson.  I am a multi sport athlete that spent most of my time focusing on basketball and baseball.  Last year,  I made the decision to focus strictly on basketball and hung up the glove and bat.  I love the game and the teamwork it takes to achieve success.   I am a shooting guard/point guard with high accuracy from 3 point range, while still having the ability to drive effectively to my dominant or non dominant side.    I like being the assist leader on the team,  nothing is more exciting than finding a teammate open under the basket when the opponent thinks they had their defense set.   I am quietly confident,  you won't find me throwing my hands up in the air displaying the 3-point symbol, or any other gesture or display.   Teamwork and sportsmanship are important to me.    I am a very coachable athlete that will always work hard to do what is asked of me.

    I'm always working on my game, I'm in the gym daily, working on fitness, quickness and continuing to work on accuracy and ball handling.  My goals are to be the best that I can be.   Ultimately, I would love to play basketball at the college level attending a great college (large or small) that fits my academic goals and career path.    I know that education is the most important piece of my college career and I want to be successful in my academics as well as my athletics.  I am a good student , currently earning a 3.5 GPA while taking several advanced classes.
