My goal is to play basketball at the collegiate level. My goals are driven by a deep love for the game, a fierce competitive spirit, and a determination to succeed both on and off the court.
Growing up with an older sister who excelled in Division 1 soccer instilled in me a competitive nature from a young age. Despite the significant age gap, she never let me win, teaching me the invaluable lesson of handling defeat gracefully while fueling my desire to work harder and never give up. Additionally, having a twin sister who shares my passion for sports has further reinforced the importance of hard work, teamwork, and inclusivity.
What distinguishes me as a recruit is my unwavering work ethic, shaped by early life challenges. Born prematurely and with a severe speech impediment, I faced obstacles that required resilience and determination to overcome. Learning to communicate effectively and advocate for myself was a journey that taught me the power of perseverance and the importance of using my voice to motivate and support others.
My competitive spirit extends beyond the basketball court and into the classroom, where I strive to excel in the most challenging academic courses. Maintaining good grades while balancing the demands of athletics demonstrates my commitment to excellence in all aspects of my collegiate experience.
