My name is Kate Schimpf and I used to watch my brothers play lacrosse from the sidelines. I wanted to play so badly so I joined the boys team for two years. I switched to girls in 5th grade and have played since then. I'm a midfielder and I take the draw. I am involved in my Church and volunteer often including attending the Youth Migrant Project for two years and being a high school Confirmation Leader. Academics have always been very important for me and I've always been successful in balancing sports and schoolwork.
