In college, I'm hoping to find a good blend of basketball as well as academics. In my family school has always come first, with basketball following at a close second. Throughout high school I have stood out for my skills in basketball, but also for my grades in the classroom. I am a member of the National Honor Society, and I helped my team to achieve a Distinguished Scholastic Award with a weighted 4.18 GPA. I am always either the only, or one of the only varsity level athletes in a multitude of AP/Honors classes at my school, and I take much more rigorous classes compared to my teammates, and our opponents. I have a reputation with our coaches as being very coachable, and for being an athlete they do not have to worry about at all when it comes to academic eligibility.
