My name is Roberto Valdez, and I am currently a freshman at Ridgefield High School. My goals and aspirations are to earn a degree in a STEM program, preferably in Engineering, and play collegiate basketball. I am currently finishing Algebra 2 and plan to be done with Calculus AB and BC before the end of High School. I have a 3.9+ GPA and I am working hard every day to maintain it. Another one of my aspirations is to play competitive Basketball at the Colegate level. I attend training throughout the year and like to attend available camps to learn even more.
What sets me apart from everyone else is that I have grown up in a catholic environment and attended catholic schools for most of my life, which I believe helps me to strive to do the right thing and never give up. I am also a very hardworking and dedicated athlete. I am coachable and a quick learner. Off the court, I am a kind and gentle guy, but on the court, I try hard to dominate and crush the competition. I am always willing to learn more to improve my game and bring it to that next level.
