Kody Gotfredson '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a driven and determined athlete. My goal is to play basketball at the next level while pursuing  a degree. I have put in thousands hours of work in the offseason to better myself. In my high school career I have had to overcome two major injuries: a broken ankle, and a broken wrist, both resulting in surgery. These injuries forced me to miss my freshman and junior year of basketball. I have had to learn to work harder than anyone to overcome these injuries, while still continuing to grow on the court. Through these experiences I have learned the amount of dedication and work it takes to become a great athlete, and I am willing to continue to put this amount of work in every single day.  I also have a basketball mind. I have a high basketball IQ, and am able to see the entire floor. I am a leader on the court and have good relationships with all of my teammates. Lastly I am coordinated and athletic enough to compete. I work on my coordination and athleticism every day. I am a three sport athlete and excel in all three sports. I am excited for the future and am determined to reach my goal and play at the next level.
