2017 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I was recruited for the dive team my freshman year by my gym teacher. I have been well coached at the high school level, and I began training with Dominion Dive Club full time after my Junior season. Since starting this year-round diving (early 2017), I have learned many dives on 3m and 5m. From diving, I learned that being fearless is essential in advancing any natural talent you have. My academic goals in high school are to take STEM courses to prepare me for an engineering path. In college, I want to major in an engineering field such as aerospace or mechanical. I have tried many sports over my life and this is by far my favorite to compete in.
