Hello, my name is Matthew Moroz. I am currently a grade eleven student attending high school in Edmonton, AB. This year (2018) I am aspiring to work on my golf game to achieve an opportunity to be on a college team in the 2019-2020 season! This upcoming year will be my fifth year of playing golf. Last year (2017) was my first year participating in junior golf tour events. I played on the MJT tour which included a second place finish, along with placing 21st at the International Players Championship in Jasper, AB. Along with playing on the junior tour, I have represented my home club at junior tournaments around the province.
I am a devoted hard worker, looking to bring leadership, commitment and tons of enthusiasm to my team. I can provide some experience and lots of support to my teammates. I believe that in order to succeed, one must have support and confidence from their peers. I am determined to bring a committed student attitude who is ready to learn and expand my skills in golf. In the long run, I view myself as a leader and a player committed to my school, program, coaches and fellow players. I believe I set myself apart from other students by my ability to have a lasting impact on others. I am very engaging and am ready to take the next step.
Academically, I have an interest in a Business program, as I have a passion for the sport in golf which drives me each and everyday to want to become a Member of the PGA and a Head Golf Professional. I believe I can achieve this through business and business management, as this course will provide me with the skills and experience that will overall set me up for success.
