Jaxson Speelman '24 Recruiting Profile

I started playing golf when I was 8 years old. My dad used to take me out to teach my how to get my swing early on. Unfortunately, my baseball swing and my golf swing were two very different things, and they always interfered with each other. When I decided to focus my sports career on golf, during my sophomore year, I hit the range very often to get my game to a higher level of competition.  Now entering my junior year, I am excited to work even more on my game to get it to college level.

Through this process, I have learned dedication, perseverance, and a great work ethic. As well in my education, I would love to enter the medical field. being a doctor has been a dream of mine for my entire life. The thought of helping people was the best motivation for me.  Golf and school have been my life for the last year, and will be my life for the next two. I hope  I can continue doing both somewhere on the near future.
