Personal Statement
Since I began playing golf two years ago, I have been working diligently to elevate my game to the point where I can now compete with my peers, many who have been playing golf their entire lives. I realize that I have gotten a late start in my tenacious pursuit of mastering this great game, but I am confident that my diligence and extraordinary work ethic will result in competing at the highest collegiate level.
In addition to my work on the course, I have proven to be an excellent student. I am a scholar athlete maintaining a high GPA. Outside of the classroom, I tutor high school math students, I bus tables at a local restaurant, and I am the founder and president of a non-profit helping seniors who have Alzheimers and dementia. In my spare time, I play acoustic guitar and write music.
My goal is to attend a college where I can contribute to the golf team and compete at the highest level while furthering my academic career. I am open to all options and I ultimately strive to find the best college fit.
