Alexander Cain '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alex Cain.  I reside in Elk Grove, California.  I am in the class of 2012 at Elk Grove High School.  I am one of the top students at my school with a 3.8 cumulative GPA.  I was nominated and recieved four academic awards.  My sophmore year I played varsity soccer and golf while maintaining a 4.0 GPA both semesters.  As far as college goes, I would ideally like to attend a 4 year college on the West coast.  However, I am still open minded about all schools.  I plan to major in mechanical or software engineering with a minor in business. 

I have been playing golf for 4 years, starting in 8th grade.  I got my first competative golf experience as a Freshman when I made the varsity golf team.  I am currently the number 1 golfer for the varsity team.  The past 2 years I have been playing in a number of JGANC tournaments.  I have two top 5 finishes along with a scoring average of 79 this season.  My competative low score is a 71 at the Phil Marskey Sacramento City Junior.  However, I plan to only get better.  Thanks.
