In 8th grade, I watched my brother Micheal play D1 golf for the first time, and I got really into the sport. After two years of playing competitively, I have learned the importance of patience, hard work, and confidence. My goals academically for high school are to average a 3.5 GPA, and take at least three Advanced Placement classes. Since I started playing golf in 8th grade, I was always lacking tournament experience. I had to learn how much different tournament golf is than when I am just practicing. This paid off when I qualified for Toyota Tour Cup in southern California just one year into playing competitively. I am very quiet and focused on the course, which I believe helps me the most. I believe the biggest strength of my golf game is my power off the tee.
