Golf has been a part of my life since 2014 and has shaped who I am today. It has taught me hard work, confidence, determination, integrity and many other life skills. I have played in my Varsity golf team as a freshman and am the team captain this year. My tournament journey started in the fall of 2016 with the U.S. Kids Bay Area local tour where I finished tied 31 for the season. Moving onto next year in the fall of 2017 I placed 3rd for the season and won my first tournament. In 2018 I played JGANC and placed in the top 3 for multiple tournaments as well as got my 2nd win. I also placed 10th in the BVAL high school league tournament and played in the CCS regional tournament as a freshman that year. My experience has helped me grow as a player and increased my confidence as well as my dedication to achieve more.
Besides golf my academic performance is of high importance to me. I have been a proficient math student. I scored a 740 out of 800 in the math section for the SAT in 8th grade and qualified for the John Hopkins Center for Talented Youth where I learned leadership skills and how to give back to the community and create change. I am also the president of the debate club and have participated in clubs like CSF as well as math club. I am looking for a program that fits me academically as well as athletically. I have the character, work-ethic and the leadership skills to play my best and make any team better.

- I shot 78-78. I was striking the ball very well. But my short game was not very strong which led to some mistakes being made in both rounds. An injury on the 2nd day really cost me a better score but played a lot more consistent overall.

- I shot 73-75. I finished T-6. In this tournament I was able to hit 12 greens on the first day and 13 on the second day. I had 5 birdies on the first day and 3 birdies on the second day but I made many mistakes leading to double bogeys. Overall the performance was well but short game could have really helped my score.

- I shot 85-78. The golf course was very windy and I struggled with getting the ball on the fairway especially on the first day. On the 2nd day I was able to hit 9 greens and make pars but a couple double bogeys really cost me this tournament.

- 7/29/19 to 7/30/19
- Shot 82(+11)-77(+6). The course rating was a 72.8. I was feeling very good going into this tournament. My short game especially my putting was really good on both days. I somewhat struggled with my long irons and only made 9 GIR on the first day and 11 GIR on the second day. Overall I was happy with the performance with many things that can be improved.

- I shot 76-82. The first day I had amazing short game and was able to make 6 up and downs. Second day I had a terrible front nine where I shot a 45(+9) but was able to somewhat recover with a 37(+1) on the back Leaderboard: https://www.golfgenius.com/pages/4838943171205442625

- Finished T7 with a score of 73(+1). Played a very consistent round. Had 15 greens in regulations but wasn't able to make the putts. Iron and driving game was very strong so very happy with the round.
