Personal Statement

My goals since they have been as a child is to go to the best school that I can go to and work my way up the ladder to the top of the team, not only as the number 1 spot but as the teams leader. In this way I feel like I would have a better connection with the coaches, and especially my teammates and hopefully grow as a whole and strive towards the teams goals. I feel like I would be a good candidate because while I am normally quiet, I always listen and get to know my surroundings and it helps me get along with many people and for a team that is a big deal, while I am quiet when I do get used to my team I become fired up and have an even bigger stride to reach my goals because I am doing it with my teammates and my friends. I feel what's different between me and most players is that I'm naturally gifted with strength to hit a golf ball which allows me to reach great heights in distance. An example of this was at the Mark Bostick's golf club I had an average drive of 329.7 throughout 18 holes hitting about every fairway. But academics wise I feel like I'm different because I'm able to absorb more information throughout writing and mainly by listening and being quiet as I gather more information and think more about the task I'm trying to accomplish. That's why I believe I would be a good fit for your team. I also want you to be aware that my Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings will be messed up until the start of my senior year. I have many bad scores from the previous year that are dragging my average down so I want you to be aware that I'm a really good golfer and I post solid scores in tournaments. If you don't believe that, wait till the end of the summer and I will show you how good I am.

  • 1st place out of 44. The first 5 holes were played in fog when you were unable to see shots past 150 yards. Finished +2 after those 5 holes and finished strong on the last few holes of the tournament with a birdie birdie finish to shoot -1 on the back. Total of a 74 and leading by 1.
  • Camp/Event
  • AJGA Greenwood Preview
  • 8/10/23 to 8/11/23
  • Course Rating 73.2(75.2), Total score for both days : 84-75 159. Finishing Place : T23 out of 50. Day one was rough after tee times got delayed 1.5 hours due to weather and the wind caught up throughout the rest of the round with a steady breeze of 15mph. Didn't perform as well as I wanted too on a tough, hilly course. Day two was better with a bit nicer weather and still wind.(Thunderstorm towards the end.) I played well and was able to shape the ball on different drives and put myself in many positions for birdies where i capitalized and jumped up over 12 spots!
  • Camp/Event
  • AJGA Qualifier - Arnold Palmer Invitational Junior
  • 7/23/23 to 7/23/23
  • Shot a 72 and T3 with 6 qualifying spots. Course rating: 73.0, Slope: 133. Played pretty well with 16 pars and one birdie paired with one bogey. Greens were just punched so putting was tough but i played well and got into the Arnold Palmer AJGA.
  • Camp/Event
  • Hurricane Junior Tour Mid Season Invitational
  • 7/14/23 to 7/16/23
  • Watson Course: Playing 6900-7000 yards; Course Rating: 75.0, Slope: 136. Finished T6 out of 65 entrants with a score of +5 through three days. Day one scored a 73 or +1. Day two scored a 73 or a +1. Day 3 scored a 75 or a +3 with a 80 minute weather delay following the 15th hole.
  • Camp/Event
  • ST. AUGUSTINE JUNIOR
  • 7/05/23 to 7/06/23
  • Finished 2nd place out of 55 participants. Shot a total of 70 + 75 = 145. Solid start to the round with only one bogey on hole nine and 3 birdies with a score of -2 on the back nine in the scorching heat. Decent second day with some bad breaks but I pushed back to go to +1 going into the 18 hole needing a par for 2nd. I was able to do so and shoot +3 for the day.
  • Camp/Event
  • Notah Begay Jr Regional
  • 6/28/23 to 6/29/23
  • Tied 7th out of 30 entrants, I shot a 155. Day 1 held a bad start with +5 through the toughest parts of the course and a weather delay. I persevered after though and rallied two birdies in a row and a stream of pars to finish at +4. Day 2 held many unfortunate events and near impossible shots and there was only so much I could handle. I performed at the best of my abilities and finished day two at +7 for a total of +11.
  • Camp/Event
  • Beaches Junior Open
  • 6/20/23 to 6/21/23
  • Tied 6th out of 56 entrants, shooting a two day total of 147. Day one was hampered by terrible weather making conditions nearly unplayable, however through perseverance I shot a 77 for the round. Day two brought better weather conditions and a score of 70, with the highlight of the round being a chip in for eagle on the 17th.
  • Camp/Event
  • Jacksonville Summer JR Open ( HJT )
  • 6/10/23 to 6/11/23
  • I played really well in this tournament and ended up getting first place by 4 shots. The course was playing tough and the greens weren't in the best shape due to them being punched a week before but I didn't let that get in my way from winning. I was able to go out the first day and be Even through 16 until a weather delay came into play and we were forced to go back in for an hour. This messed with my game a bit but I was able to conquer it and finish at a 74 with a tough final stretch of holes. At this point I was leading by 1 going into the second day. I started off well with a birdie on my first hole and just let my body take control and feel the release of the clubface to hit a solid draw every hole. With this I was able to finish off at -1 making the turn into the back where I hit 8 out of 9 greens in regulation and 7 out of 9 fairways. My putting was decent but nothing dropped until I got to -2 on the 16th by sticking a 58 degree from 74 yards to 1 foot. I was leading by 5 at this time and ended up going bogey par in a hard last stretch of holes to end up with a 71 or 145 for the whole tournament. I played really well and I expect even lower scores and wins in the future.
  • Camp/Event
  • Qualifier - AJGA Junior Championship presented by Visit Tallahassee
  • 6/05/23 to 6/05/23
  • Finshing the AJGA Qualfier was tough with all the weapons that the course had for me and I was not able to shoot as well as I would've wanted to. Overall besides a few holes I was relatively even par so I know that next time and in the future that clearing up those simple mistakes and using the terrain more to my advantage is the key to dominating the very tough Seminole Legacy. I ended up finishing T25 out of 56 with a final score of 42+39=81. The course was rated at a 75.3 firm and moved to a 78.3 after playing calculations were put into account. This round was not to bad but I see much better and lower scores at Seminole in the future.
  • Camp/Event
  • Qualifier - UNIQLO / Adam Scott Junior Championship
  • 5/25/23 to 5/25/23
  • Dealing with allergies due to an insect sting I was unable to preform at the best of my abilities yet still posted a solid round at a 76 on a course rated a 74.3 playing about 7000 yards. The rough was long and the greens were fast but I was able to drive the ball well and make smart decisions. I ended up making the top 25 at T22 and hope for even better results in the future
  • Camp/Event
  • Florida Amateur Qualifier
  • 5/07/23 to 5/07/23
  • I shot a career low for nine holes in a tournament with a 32-42=74. I had an amazing front nine and felt like I had my swing, as the wind picked up and storms began to come in at the back nine I began to lose my sense of distance and ended up with many bogeys that should’ve been easily prevented. Regardless I played very well and Tied for 13th out of 70 amateurs in North Florida.
  • Camp/Event
  • UF OPEN
  • 4/22/23 to 4/22/23
  • I shot a 39-39=78 at a tough UF course. The course was very tough with the greens rolling at 13 due the the gators championship being a few weeks prior. While the course was tough and they had us tipped out, I played solid off the tee and had trouble with my short-game on those tricky ungelated greens. That is something that I will get better at over time as I play more golf courses with faster greens. I finished at T-12 out of 62.
  • Camp/Event
  • Junior Azalea

  • HJGT Lake Buena Vista Junior Open
  • 1/14/23 to 1/15/23
  • Good scores in terrible conditions ( +20 mph winds and under 40 degrees including a frost delay ). Consistent scores but could’ve been better on a very tough course. 79 + 81 for a total of 160.
  • Camp/Event
  • Hall of Fame INV
  • 12/10/22 to 12/11/22
  • Great start to day one with a 71 ( -1 ) but a poor finish with an 81 ( +10 ) the next day in tough windy conditions. Finished 8th out of 44 for a total of 152 or ( +9 ).
