Personal Statement
Hello my name is Kason Partridge and i am 15 years old.I have been playing golf since i was 12, after realizing that golf was my passion and that baseball and football is not what i loved to do, however I realized that the values in team sports could be applied to golf. After a few months of preparing I began competing in tournaments and soon found that I loved the competition and challenge of golf that other sports could not match. I began doing volunteer work at the First Tee in Columbus, Georgia because I enjoyed helping out at the golf course and I eventually got a job as a coach. I was fortunate to experience team golf at a young age from by playing middle school leagues and eventually made my way to high school where I was number one varsity and the captain of the team as a freshman. I have taken all that I have learned and applied it to my golf game which has made me a good team component. Also, i have open ears when it come to outside input from coaches and advisers to help improve my game even more.
I strive every day to make my golf game better as well as maintaining A's in my classes as i know grades is a very important part of College. I love the constant challenge that golf brings and that makes my strong work ethic very useful and well worth it. Any Occasion that i have free time I always use it to my advantage to practice, fine tune my golf game, and separate myself from others to truly become the best i can be . The reason that i love golf is because no one can help you be great but yourself and i believe very strongly in that and use it as motivation. I know that golf is my passion and i hope to improve my game in college as well as getting a good education to support me in the future.
