I began golfing when I was 3 years old. My grandpa Tom would take me golf ball hunting at a nearby golf course. We would wash the balls and get them nice and clean. My grandpa made me a golf club that fit my size. The club was made from pieces of other clubs. He would put the ball on a tee in his back yard and I would hit many, many balls. I just kept hitting them and did not want to stop. From golf I have learned that becoming good does not come naturally and it takes a lot of work and time. I was the top in IESA for a 7th grader the first year my middle school had a golf team (2019). My goal was to finish in first place at state this year, 2020, however, state was canceled due to Covid-19. This experience made me more competitive and more willing to work hard. Through golf I have learned the value of dedication, drive, and commitment.
My academic goals are to maintain a 4.00 gpa in high school and college. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me academically and athletically. I believe I have the talent, character, and work ethic to be a great fit for your college team.
