Personal Statement

I am a high energy person who enjoys competing in whatever sport I am playing. I played travel baseball for 7 years so golf was not my number one sport. However, that all changed 2 summers ago. I love the mental challenges that come with golf. You get out what you put in. I have been working hard at not only my game but my character on and off the golf course. I look at myself as a leader who can galvanize a group together towards one common goal. Though golf is an individual sport at many times, the work and preparation is more rewarding when you push together as a team. I can help bring that type of focus and commitment to a team level. I look forward to the opportunity if given the chance.

A 77-78 in brutal conditions, with near-perfect ball striking and a disastrous putting performance, I finished in the top 20 after a run on the last 12 holes, including four birdies in a row. The final tournament of the year showing my strengths and weaknesses, learning what I will work on this off season this tournament was a necessary failure.
