Personal Statement

My name is Will Scott, and I have been playing golf for roughly four years now. I love to play golf, and my ultimate goal is to play at a college that also offers a good education for me as a student. I am a mostly A student, and take the hardest classes that I can, hoping to major in mathematics or physics when I go to college. My strongest attribute as a golfer is my mindset, which I feel is one of, if not the most important trait that a golfer can have. I don't let my bad holes get to me, and I always try to finish my rounds off strong. I am a 0.8 handicap golfer, and recently competed in multiple MAPGA tournaments this summer, and plan on competing in AJGA ones next year. I am dedicated to practicing and competing every day, and I am looking forward to playing golf throughout college.
