I have always been very active, competitive, and participated in many sports. In my early childhood, I played soccer, basketball, golf and baseball. Since the beginning High School, I have focused on golf, basketball, and lacrosse. I was a three-sport varsity player for my sophomore year and hope to continue that through my junior and senior years.
I began playing golf with both of my grandfathers and my grandmother when I was around 9 years old. It was meaningful to have a sport that helped me connect with them. I fell in love with the game and have continued to push myself to grow in the sport. I have sought out coaching from local expert and former professional golfer Jane Frost to help improve my game as I went from a Freshman to a Sophomore. From this, I saw a much better swing stance which helped me gain driving yardage and control. Additionally, I started getting involved with local Jr. PGA tournaments to get exposure to stronger golfers than me to improve my game. I am focused, hard-working and competitive.
My goal as a Junior is to find a college that will help me continue to improve my competitive golf game and allow me to compete at a high level.
