Winter 2012Personal Statement
Hello my name is Austin Carter and I am from Applegate, Michigan. I am currently a junior at Croswell-Lexington High School in Croswell Michigan. My grad year is 2014. Academically I have challenged myself by taking advanced placement classes. My GPA is currently a 3.45 and I am always striving to do better. My dreams, goals, and aspirations always revolve around my golf game. As of right now in high school, my main goal is to win my state championship. Other goals are to qualify for the Michigan Open and U.S Open and win various other AJGA tournaments when they make their summer stop in Michigan. I cannot express my desire to play D-1 college golf enough. Golf is the love of my life. In the summer when I'm not playing in junior tournaments, I am at my home course practicing and trying to find ways to better my game whether it be mentally or physically. I'm 110% golf year round.
